This Chapter provides for selected matters relating to ownership of immovable property. Subject to certain exceptions, it declares that only citizens of the state of Pohnpei or corporations wholly owned by citizens of the state of Pohnpei may hold title to land in the state of Pohnpei. It refers to a provision of article 12 of the Pohnpei Constitution relative to acquisition of permanent interest in real property.

This Act makes provision for the establishment and execution of mortgages and other matters relating to land-based credit. Its purpose is to establish a system of mortgage law in Pohnpei which will induce lenders to make secured commercial and residential loans, while at the same time ensuring that borrowers who execute mortgages of property in Pohnpei have a full comprehension of the nature and consequences thereof and that the parties to the mortgage are protected against unfair practices.

This Act makes provision with respect to deeds of trust in respect of land. Its purpose is to provide for a satisfactory method of securing the financing of improvements to real property by the United States of America acting through various agencies.A deed of trust is a conveyance of the freehold or leasehold interest in trust to secure an indebtedness or charge against real property conveyed, with or without a power of sale, vested in the trustee to sell according to the terms as set forth in the instrument.

This Chapter confirms, with certain exceptions, law established during the Japanese administration which declared all marine areas below the ordinary high watermark to belong to the government. Certain customary rights to place and maintain fish weirs or traps are re-established. Other exceptions concern customary rights of owners of land abutting the ocean to collect coconuts and other materials and fishing rights on, and in waters over reefs where the general depth of water does not exceed four feet at mean low water.

La presente Ley reformatoria para la equidad tributaria, mediante el título IV, de Creación de impuestos reguladores, establece, entre otros, el impuesto a los ingresos extraordinarios obtenidos por las empresas que han suscrito contratos con el Estado para la exploración (capítulo 2) y explotación de recursos no renovables y el impuesto anual sobre la propiedad o posesión de inmuebles rurales (capítulo 3).

El presente Acuerdo aprueba el Instructivo para la venta de inmuebles propiedad de las asociaciones cooperativas, comunales y comunitarias campesinas, disponiendo que el Consejo de Administración de la asociación deberá proponerle a la Asamblea General de la misma la venta de uno o varios inmuebles de su propiedad, o parte de ellos.

El presente Decreto aprueba el Reglamento a la Ley de Catastro Nacional, que tiene bajo su competencia la ejecución y mantenimiento del catastro y la creación de un registro catastral mediante los procedimientos técnicos y tecnológicos de que disponga, y tendrá a cargo la función de calificación e inscripción de planos de agrimensura.

This Law regulates state registration of property rights, the general principles of which shall be: (a) state protection of registered rights to property; and (b) the accessibility, objectivity, updating and centralization of cadastre data. State registration shall be implemented by a unified state cadastre system of real estate, which shall be a national public administration body authorized by the Government and its territorial branches.

Le présent décret porte création de la commission de récupération des immeubles et terrains de l'Etat "C.R.I.T.E.", chargée de s'assurer de la régularité, conformément aux lois et règlements en vigueur, de l'acquisition par les particuliers des immeubles et terrains de l'Etat, ainsi que de toutes les décisions de restitution.

This Ministerial Decree validates the maximum size for plots of agricultural land within a single administrative unit (city) that may be allotted: in ownership to citizens of Kazakhstan for farming; to non-public legal persons for agricultural production; and in temporary land tenure to foreigners, stateless persons and foreign legal persons for commercial farming.
