The present Act lays down provisions relating to land survey. The Act contains at the outset a definition clause relating to various terms employed therein, such as “ascertainable point”, “broken concession”, “broken lot”, “irregular lot”, “regular lot”, “land”, “lost corner”, “last as side line”, “proofline”. Article 2 establishes that no survey of land for the purpose of defining, locating or describing any line, boundary or corner of a parcel of land is valid unless made by a surveyor or under the personal supervision of a surveyor.

Article 1 establishes that the official survey and spatial information system is part of the national infrastructure for spatial development of the state Mecklenburg-Vorpommern safeguarding ownership of land. The spatial data are the basis for all local and site-specific measures in the country. The present Law provides the legal framework for the operation of spatial information infrastructure in the Free State of Saxony and regulates its relation to the national geo-data infrastructure. Furthermore, the Law implements aspects of the environment policy of the European Union.

The text consists of 21 articles divided into 5 Parts as follows: Fundamental provisions (I); Authentication fees (II); Registration, provisional entries and annotation fees (III); Other fees (IV); Final and transitional provisions (V).

The purpose of the present Law is to provide authorities both at national and cantonal level, economy, science and the public with spatial information in a sustainable, up to date, quick, simple way. Furthermore, this data shall be of good quality and at adequate costs. The text consists of 43 articles divided into 6 Parts as follows: General provisions (I); Geo-data and geo-data infrastructure (II); Official survey (III); Mapping of land (IV); Cadastre of public ownership restriction (V); Final provisions (VI).

The present Law enforces the Federal Spatial Information Act of 5 October 2010. In particular, the purpose of the present Law is to provide authorities both at national and cantonal level, economy, science and the public with spatial information. The Law lays down provisions relating to the enforcement of federal legislation in the field of geographic information and the collection, management and use of spatial data for the area of the Canton Appenzell-Innerrhoden.

This Act provides for the prevention of soil degradation and damage to soil functions, protection of soil functions, and for the restoration of damaged soil functions.The Minister of Environment and Water, the Minister of Agriculture and Food, the Minister of Health, and the Minister of Regional Development and Public Works shall be responsible for implementing the State policy for soil protection, sustainable use and restoration at a national level.

The Government of Nepal may issue orders for purposes of land survey and measurement which shall be carried out by the prescribed authority (sect. 3). Sections 4 and 5 make provision for the measurement of land and the demarcation of boundaries of specified lands. Section 6 makes provision for land survey operations. After survey, measurement, and registration the prescribed authority shall issue a registration certificate under section 8. Section 10 provides for the classification of land according to its characteristics.

This Regional Law regulates relations concerning the modalities of application of land public servitudes irrespectively of appurtenance of land plot to a specific land category.
