La zone côtière et ses ressources naturelles constituent un atout pour le développement économique de Djibouti. Toutefois, elle est de plus en plus menacée par les activités humaines. Face à cette situation, un plan de gestion intégrée de la zone côtière a été élaboré afin d’assurer un développement harmonieux de la zone côtière qui permette à la fois le développement économique du pays, l’amélioration de sa compétitivité, la gestion durable des ressources naturelles, et l’amélioration des conditions de vie de la population.

This Decision approves the master plan on the socio-economic development of Chu Lai open economic zone, Quang Nam province.The main objectives of the plan include: development of agriculture, forestry and fishery; sustainable protection and development of the environment and of natural resources; control of environmental pollution; development of water supply, drainage, wastewater and solid waste treatment systems and irrigation systems; and land use and urban planning.

"Forest for domestic use" is a forest owned in common property and which serves to satisfy the needs of supply of wood for domestic purposes of the owners. "Use for domestic purposes" seems to include use of timber for carpentry and construction of houses. Such forest shall be managed by a board of members in accordance with rules laid down by the present Act. The board of a forest for domestic use shall be controlled by the Department of Agriculture and Forestry. For each forest for which no exemption is in force a management plan shall be adopted by the Department.
