Fraudulent Dispositions Act, 1991 (Cap. 78).

This Act aims at the avoidance of fraudulent dispositions including any transaction, gift, grant or transfer of property of any nature whatsoever. Subject to the provisions of this Act, every disposition of property made with an intent to defraud and at an undervalue can be declared null and void at the instance of a creditor thereby prejudiced. The Act sets out rules for legal proceeding following a suspected fraudulent disposition. The burden of establishing an intent to defraud for the purposes of this Act shall be upon the creditor seeking to set aside the disposition.

Rule against Perpetuities (Application to Future Easements) Act (Cap. 146).

For the avoidance of doubt, this Act declares that the rule against perpetuities shall apply to future easements and such easements shall be void. The Act also stipulates that a covenant not to interfere with the exercise of rights which, if directly granted, would constitute an easement declared void under this Act, shall not be enforceable against a purchaser of land affected thereby.

Validation of Gratuitous Conveyances Act (Cap. 145).

This Act stipulates that in a voluntary conveyance or in a conveyance where the consideration is nominal, a resulting trust for the grantor shall not be implied merely by reason of the absence of valuable consideration or of a substantial consideration or of any words expressly rebutting a resulting trust or by reason that the land is not expressed to be conveyed for the use or benefit of the grantee.

This Act defines the legality of voluntary conveyance of any lands, tenements or hereditaments which are in fact made bona fide and without any fraudulent intent for purposes of a specified piece of United Kingdom legislation. This Act does not apply in any case in which the author of a voluntary conveyance of any lands, tenements or hereditaments has subsequently, but before the passing of this Act, disposed of or dealt with the same lands, tenements or hereditaments to or in favour of a purchaser for value.

This Act concerns self-government and self-sufficiency of Aboriginal persons and Torres Strait Islanders, the economic and cultural development of and the use of lands by descendants of original habitants of Australia. The Act establishes the Torres Strait Regional Authority (TSRA), the Indigenous Land Corporation and a corporation to be known as Indigenous Business Australia. TSRA shall, among other things, formulate and implement programs for Torres Strait Islanders, and Aboriginal persons, living in the Torres Strait area.

This Proclamation requires (future) public servants to disclose to and register with the Federal Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission their interests in assets, including immovable property, so as to enhance transparency and accountability in the conduct of public affairs. Customary law shall not apply to matters provided for by this Proclamation. Any public office or public enterprise shall ensure compliance with this Proclamation.
