National Academic Research and Collaborations Information System (NARCIS) is the main Dutch national portal for those looking for information about researchers and their work. NARCIS aggregates data from around 30 institutional repositories. Besides researchers, NARCIS is also used by students, journalists and people working in educational and government institutions as well as the business sector.
NARCIS provides access to scientific information, including (open access) publications from the repositories of all the Dutch universities, KNAW, NWO and a number of research institutes, datasets from some data archives as well as descriptions of research projects, researchers and research institutes.
This means that NARCIS cannot be used as an entry point to access complete overviews of publications of researchers (yet). However, there are more institutions that make all their scientific publications accessible via NARCIS. By doing so, it will become possible to create much more complete publication lists of researchers.
In 2004, the development of NARCIS started as a cooperation project of KNAW Research Information, NWO, VSNU and METIS, as part of the development of services within the DARE programme of SURFfoundation. This project resulted in the NARCIS portal, in which the DAREnet service was incorporated in January 2007. NARCIS has been part of DANS since 2011.
DANS - Data Archiving and Networked Services - is the Netherlands Institute for permanent access to digital research resources. DANS encourages researchers to make their digital research data and related outputs Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Reusable.

Land owners who offer blue services make their land available for activities such as water conservation, peak-flow storage or the containment of the rise of the groundwater level, and receive payments that exceed the compensation for incurred costs. The Netherlands is a pioneer in the concept of blue services, but other European countries may also offer possibilities for such activities. There are a number of institutional factors that either hamper or stimulate the realisation of blue services.
Historisch grondgebruik Nederland 1990 een landelijke reconstructie van het grondgebruik rond 1990
Voor de periode rond 1990 is een gedetailleerd landelijk GIS-bestand ontwikkeld met historisch grondgebruik. De gegevens hier-voor zijn ontleend aan landsdekkende topografische kaarten die rond 1990 zijn verschenen. Deze kaartbladen van de topografische kaart 1:25.000 zijn gescand en geometrisch gecorrigeerd naar het RD-stelsel. Met een semi-automatische classificatie zijn van de gescande kaarten de kleuren omgezet naar tien klassen met grondgebruik.
Het verwerven van legitimiteit voor vernieuwingen : Verdiepingsstuk
In dit verdiepingsstuk staat het verkrijgen van draagvlak voor door een organisatie beoogde vernieuwingen in een planproces centraal. Hoe vergroot men, in eigen organisatie, de steun voor deze nieuwe manier van werken? En hoe kan men vervolgens een constructieve houding laten ontstaan ten opzichte van de gewenste vernieuwingen? Hoe kan men er nu voor zorgen dat vernieuwingen ook door anderen als legitiem worden beoordeeld? Het hanteerbaar maken van de onzekerheden omtrent legitimiteit wordt geïllustreerd via het (fictieve) project Rimpelbroekse Beken
Dilemma's en barrières in de praktijk van het natuur- en landschapsbeleid : achtergronddocument bij Natuurbalans 2009
In hoofdstuk 8 van de Natuurbalans 2009 wordt ingegaan op de dilemma’s en barrières in de praktijk van het natuur- en landschapsbeleid. De realisatie van dit beleid is grotendeels gedecentraliseerd naar provincies. De feitelijke uitvoering vindt vaak weer plaats in gebiedsprocessen. Onderzocht is wat de betekenis is van deze decentralisatie in het kader van het Investeringsbudget Landelijk Gebied om de natuur- en landschapsdoelen van het Rijk te realiseren. Hiervoor zijn literatuurstudies en interviewronden in gebiedsprocessen uitgevoerd.
Een Nieuwe Koekelt : kloppend groen hart van Ede
De tuinders van VAT-Ede (Vereniging Amateurtuinders) wilden een verkenning uitvoeren naar de mogelijkheden om het bestaande volkstuincomplex De Koekelt om te vormen tot een multifunctioneel tuinenpark. Het volkstuinencomplex De Koekelt biedt door haar ligging en grootte ongekende mogelijkheden om een multifunctioneel tuinenpark te realiseren.
