The purpose of this Order is to guarantee the accomplishment of the Presidential Decree No. 337 of 1996 "On carrying into effect the constitutional right of the citizens on land". This Order entitles the State Committee on Land, in accordance with the Ministry of Agriculture and Food and the Ministry of Justice, to validate the forms of contract dealing with the transfer of the land shares in leasehold to agricultural enterprises, farmers, to stock capital of the agricultural enterprises.

This Decree provides for the exemption from the agricultural land use tax in case of land assigned by the State to households and individuals for agricultural development, or belonging to farmer cooperatives whose land has been assigned for agricultural production, or for agricultural and forestry farmers which have been assigned lands for farming, in poor and less favoured areas.

Articles 5a and 23a are hereby added to Law No. 7501 on the land. Upon division of the land, the Land Commissions at the villages shall deposit the documentation on land distribution with the cadastre office of the competent district. Article 23a concerns the penalty to be applied to Land Commissions in case of violation of the criteria established by the Law for compiling documentation on land distribution.

Official Reply of the State Council with regard to the approval of the Land Use Plans 1997-2010 of Beijing. Beijing is the capital city of China and the political and culture center, which has large population with limited land. The Reply approves the Plans and emphasizes to strengthen the administration of land resources. By the year of 2010, the reduction of cultivated land shall not exceed 23940000 qing (= 6.6667 hectares), the basic farmland shall be 299330000 qing, the land use for construction shall be controlled within 610 square kilometers.

The present Agreement lays down provisions relating to the implementation of the James Bay and Northern Quebec Agreement between Her Majesty the Queen in Right of Canada and Makivik Corporation. The text consists of 18 sections. Eight Annexes are enclosed.Furthermore, the present Governance Agreement sets out a process for Sioux Valley Dakota Nation to take control over and pass laws relating to natural resource development and the environmental assessment of related projects on its reserve land base.

Framework Agreement on First Nation Land Management.

The present Agreement is an initiative by 14 First Nations to take over the management and control of their lands and resources. The Agreement sets out the principle components of this new land management process. Furthermore, the present Agreement provides First Nations with all legal status and powers needed to manage and govern their lands and resources. While First Nations will not be able to sell their land, they will be able to lease or develop their lands and resources, subject to any limits imposed by their own community in laws and Land Codes.

The present Agreement constitutes a final settlement of the aboriginal rights of the Labrador Inuit in Canada and exhaustively sets out the rights of the Labrador Inuit that recognized and confirmed by section 35 of the Constitution Act, 1982. In exchange for the rights and benefits specified in the Agreement, Inuit will cede and release to Canada and Newfoundland and Labrador all of their aboriginal rights outside of Labrador Inuit Lands and Aboriginal rights related to subsurface resources in Labrador Inuit Lands.

The present Agreement outlines the relationships and obligations between the Iniut of the Nunavut Settlement Area and Her Majesty the Queen in right of Canada. This Agreement – also referred to as Nunavut Land Claims Agreement - is a land claims agreement between the Inuit of the Nunavut Settlement Area (part of the Northwest Territories) and the Government of Canada subject to the Constitution Act of 1982. The lands are not deemed to be "Lands Reserved for Indians" with respect to the Constitution Act of 1867.

The Northeastern Quebec Agreement (NEQA) settles the land claims of the Naskapi Indian band, exchanging their claims, rights and territorial interests for other rights and benefits.
